Through a nationwide network of branches and showrooms, we manage the import, distribution and after-sales servicing of a comprehensive portfolio of automotive brands covering the agricultural and construction equipment, and passenger and commercial vehicles sectors.
We have a strong brand position in the heavy equipment segment with New Holland remaining one of the top three tractor brands in Myanmar, introducing new technology to the agriculture sector including the first sugarcane and combine harvesters. New Holland is also introducing larger heavy equipment and precision farming technology to commercial farming operators to help improve the productivity, crop quality and mechanisation of Myanmar’s agriculture industry. We also serve the construction equipment market with the JCB brand. In 2019, Yoma JCB successfully landed its first government tender to supply excavators to the Yangon City Development Committee.
For our passenger and commercial vehicle segment, we represent the Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Hino, Denso, Ducati and Bridgestone tyre brands; which makes us the only company in Myanmar with a comprehensive suite of automotive brands. We now have a showroom in Yangon and Mandalay for our Volkswagen business as well as a Hino Motors showroom.
The Pun Hlaing Hospitals operate hospitals and clinics in Yangon as well as Mandalay with a mission to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to all socio-economic segments. It is a joint venture between FMI and OUE Lippo Healthcare, a regional healthcare group with headquarters in Singapore.
We are currently the only hospital in Myanmar to be awarded the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA), the gold-standard accreditation in hospital certifications worldwide from the Joint Commission International. Yoma Micro Power mission is to build a better Myanmar for its people by harnessing sustainable energy resources. Electrification is a cornerstone of Myanmar’s economic and social development. Currently, 65% of Myanmar’s population lacks access to grid electricity. Yoma Micro Power builds, owns, operates and maintains small-scale power plants and mini-grids for off-grid rural customers and rooftop grid-tied solar systems for commercial and industrial customers. Our solar-powered mini-grids offer an efficient pathway for rural electrification as we are able to provide an on-grid experience to rural villages that may otherwise have to wait ten or more years to obtain grid electricity.
We also own the rights to 100,000 acres of agricultural land in Irrawaddy Division, of which approximately 3,700 acres has been earmarked for a Robusta coffee plantation. We continue to explore opportunities to rent the land to other strategic operators of agricultural plantations.
We have a strategic business alliance with Mitsubishi Corporation for business opportunities in Myanmar. In addition to partnerships in the real estate and automotive sectors, together with Mitsubishi Corporation, we are also importing, supplying and providing maintenance services for elevators. Yoma Strategic has a 9% interest in a joint venture with JALUX Inc. to upgrade and operate the Mandalay International Airport.

We are an end-to-end food and beverage platform comprising restaurants, the distribution and bottling of beverages and the provision of wholesale and cold chain logistic services. Our history dates back to 1991 when our Chairman, Serge Pun, returned to Yangon after having spent more than two decades building up real estate businesses in Hong Kong, China, Thailand and Malaysia.
