Through a nationwide network of branches and showrooms, we manage the import, distribution and after-sales servicing of a comprehensive portfolio of automotive brands covering the agricultural and construction equipment, and passenger and commercial vehicles sectors.

For our passenger and commercial vehicle segment, we represent the Volkswagen, Mitsubishi, Hino, Denso, Ducati and Bridgestone tyre brands; which makes us the only company in Myanmar with a comprehensive suite of automotive brands. We now have a showroom in Yangon and Mandalay for our Volkswagen business as well as a Hino Motors showroom.
The Pun Hlaing Hospitals operate hospitals and clinics in Yangon as well as Mandalay with a mission to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to all socio-economic segments. It is a joint venture between FMI and OUE Lippo Healthcare, a regional healthcare group with headquarters in Singapore.
We are currently the only hospital in Myanmar to be awarded the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA), the gold-standard accreditation in hospital certifications worldwide from the Joint Commission International. Our aim is to increase our hospital reach by building a nationwide ‘hub and spoke’ service delivery model of healthcare services and facilities, focusing on a holistic approach to deliver the four dimensions of health — physical, spiritual, psychological and social.

Yoma Micro Power mission is to build a better Myanmar for its people by harnessing sustainable energy resources. Electrification is a cornerstone of Myanmar’s economic and social development. Currently, 65% of Myanmar’s population lacks access to grid electricity. Yoma Micro Power builds, owns, operates and maintains small-scale power plants and mini-grids for off-grid rural customers and rooftop grid-tied solar systems for commercial and industrial customers. Our solar-powered mini-grids offer an efficient pathway for rural electrification as we are able to provide an on-grid experience to rural villages that may otherwise have to wait ten or more years to obtain grid electricity.
We also own the rights to 100,000 acres of agricultural land in Irrawaddy Division, of which approximately 3,700 acres has been earmarked for a Robusta coffee plantation. We continue to explore opportunities to rent the land to other strategic operators of agricultural plantations.
We have a strategic business alliance with Mitsubishi Corporation for business opportunities in Myanmar. In addition to partnerships in the real estate and automotive sectors, together with Mitsubishi Corporation, we are also importing, supplying and providing maintenance services for elevators. Yoma Strategic has a 9% interest in a joint venture with JALUX Inc. to upgrade and operate the Mandalay International Airport.
Yoma also has investments in the Myanmar Opportunities Funds, private investment funds managed by Delta Capital Myanmar, which is active in several of Myanmar’s key growth sectors. The funds have raised over US$100 million in capital across two funds since 2013.

In 2019, Wave Money launched WavePay, the digital payments and e-wallet business. In 2020, Ant Financial, formerly known as Alipay – the highest valued FinTech company in the world – joined Wave Money. We are an end-to-end food and beverage platform comprising restaurants, the distribution and bottling of beverages and the provision of wholesale and cold chain logistic services. We are currently the largest restaurant operator in Myanmar with over 70 stores across four international and domestic brands. These brands include KFC Myanmar, Aunty Anne’s and Little Sheep, and the iconic local chain restaurant YKKO.
Our bottling business includes a partnership with Pernod Ricard, the world’s second-largest wines and spirits company, for the production and distribution of alcoholic beverages in Myanmar. Our history dates back to 1991 when our Chairman, Serge Pun, returned to Yangon after having spent more than two decades building up real estate businesses in Hong Kong, China, Thailand and Malaysia.
